Finally really getting started

And we're back for our not-so-daily dose of spam about the project and my life! Not-so-daily, because sadly I didn't get the chance to write anything yesterday, and I don't doubt that's going to happen more often. And I don't think I'll write Sundays either. But that's alright! Because I can get you all caught up on things today :).

Thursday

So yesterday we made our scrumboard! It was quite a lot of work, really, and it was hard to get started because everyone kept getting distracted. Eventually we did get started, however, along with another group. Which is sort of sharing, I guess? We helped each other out, anyway. Here are some pictures:

And this was the final 'to do' list on the finished scrumboard! :)

I also made the research plan for our project group, actually before we did the scrumboard at all, because everyone kept getting distracted and I really felt like we should finally get started, seeing as we'd basically been doing nothing for the past three days. I also wrote down questions we should ask our target group, and I explained to one of the group members what an empathy map entails, seeing as he was going to an elementary school that afternoon to see what information he could gather.

After all that, it was getting kind of late. I tried to sketch some characters, but I didn't get very far. Part of our group had already left and I didn't feel like doing anything anymore myself.

Then we went to the restaurant, which was really a lot of fun, and the food was absolutely delicious! Part of the group went by bus, and.. Well, here are some more pictures.

Then finally I also went into the city and danced a lot, but I won't be posting any pictures of that. There's already a lot of pictures in this post right now, and it's really not necessary. And it's not really school-related, either, except that I was with classmates.

That concludes it for Thursday, and I didn't get to write a post as I didn't get home till 3am or so.

Friday

Today wasn't very productive, honestly. I did have my assessment production at 10.30am, which I passed. There was half an hour scheduled for the assessment, but after ten minutes the assessor and teacher told me that it was clear I was competent and that I did a great job teaching myself HTML and CSS in such a short period of time. Honestly, I'm pretty proud of that! I mean, for a teacher to compliment you is pretty good, right?

After that, all our group really did was sketch some characters and backgrounds or make attempts to do so. Apart from that, we got distracted a lot. So we left early, and I went into the city to get some stuff with my twin sister and a friend. Which really leaves me here, typing this post :o.

Tomorrow is open door day at the NHL, and I'll be helping out. This is good for the competency Sharing, and it also seems like fun. I'm not exactly sure what we're supposed to do, but we're in a group and I think we're supposed to be working together on something, then explain that to visitors and maybe have them work along with us. And we should answer people their questions, of course. Well, I'll see how it works out! I'll be back tomorrow for a report on how the open door day went and also for a reflection upon this week. :)
